Hello – i just learned today that on 8th December sales force are radically changing the advanced admin exam.
What has changed?
The exam has been reorganized from 10 sections and 41 objectives to 7 sections and 25 objectives. The sections and weighting of the updated exam are:
Security and Access – 20% (No change)
Objects and Applications – 19% (formerly Extending Custom Objects and Applications: 8%)
Auditing and Monitoring – 10% (formerly 6%)
Cloud Applications – 11% (formerly Sales Cloud Applications: 10%, Service Cloud Applications: 10%)
Data and Analytics Management – 13% (formerly Data Management: 10%, Analytics, Reports, and Dashboards: 10%)
Content Management: 3% – Removed
Environment Management and Deployment – 7% (formerly Change Management: 10%)
Process Automation – 20% (formerly 13%)
When will the study guide and exams be updated to reflect this please as im due to sit my exam on Dec 9th!!!!

I would like to know if Advanced Administrator is equal to ADX 201lightning ? which exam cours should I take? ADM201 OR ADMIN 301?

ADX201 is not really equivalent to the Advanced Admin exam. It’s similar to ADM201 but geared more towards learning Lightning Experience if you’re a new admin and your experience is more on Classic. ADM211 is for Advanced Admin.
