I took my ADM201 exam yesterday and passed on my first try! Although I took all the exam practice here and practice exam from webassessor.com, for the actual exam, I found the wordings are quite difficult. They are not very straightforward and not easy to understand. Some questions I have to read several time to understand what they are actually asking. FocusOnForce is sooooo helpful! Thank you!
Congratulations! We’re delighted to know that our materials were helpful.
I am a project manager and just needs very fewer hands-on the admin. I do need a certification but I will not be working on day-to-day basis on salesforce. Any suggestions the order of study and should i go through extra link to pass the exam ? let me know
Hi Carlo,
Hands-on experience is extremely helpful to pass the exam, even if it’s just on your dev org or via Trailhead. It helps you to remember and understand the concepts better. The admin exam covers a lot of topics and merely reading isn’t enough.
For the order of study, I suggest you follow the original order of the categories (i.e. from Org Setup down to AppExchange). We recommend reading through the extra links, especially when you do not have a lot of hands-on experience. As you have the practice exams in your account, I suggest you try the exam bank to see how the questions are formulated and how much detail you should more or less get into.
Thank You!
I passed .. thank you
Great news! Congratulations on clearing the exam, Daniel! Cheers!
Hello I am new to Salesforce course . is it a good Idea to start the course the way topic is in above format or to start with the topic with high percentages and complete those first and then the less percentage one . Please advise
Hi Vrutang,
Since you are new to Salesforce, the order in which the categories are listed would be more logical for you to follow. Make sure to read through the Learn More links so that you can get into further detail for each topic.
Thank you Sara..
I just pass my Admin Cert last Friday!!! Thanks FoF!
Great news, daniel87mvc! Congratulations on clearing the exam, the whole team is happy to know that our materials helped!
Hi, Can you please let me know if the focusonforce material and the trailhead links provided at the end of each section along with focusonforce practice tests is enough to crack Salesforce Admin Certification ? Thank you
A lot of the people here have also used the Trailhead Trailmix for Admin certification. We also recommend going through the superbadge projects in Trailhead. You can also use your own dev org to practice on the scenarios that you will encounter in the study guide and the practice exams. It helps in bridging your knowledge from theory to practice.
Passed the Salesforce Certified Administrator exam last Saturday. This course and the mock exams gave me confidence to do the real exam. Thank you FOCUSONFORCE team for putting together a much helpful material and practice exam guide.
That’s great news Hari, glad it could help you.
hi all! I’ve just registered and getting knowlede about the certificacion. When the exams are planned and how to register? thank you so much!
Hi Lola,
You can find the information on this page, under “How to Take the Certification Exam?”:
https://focusonforce.com/salesforce-certifications/
Hi Sara, thank you so much for your help! What does ‘unscored’ questions means exaclty? thanks a lot!
Hi Lola,
Salesforce added the unscored questions to gather data on the questions’ performance. In the near future, those questions may be included in the exam as scored items.
What is the percentage against each course topic means?
Hi Muhammad,
Those are the weightings of the categories in the exam. They are based on the official exam guide:

Thanks Sara.
Passed the exam today. Your material was really helpful.
Hi vbirudu, great news! Congratulations on clearing the exam, cheers!
Hello Vbirudu, Did you went through additional resources too in Focus on force. As sometimes I think its too much to take in.
Hello Vishwas, I finished the Admin trail on Trailhead (Including super badges) along with this material. You should also practice as many questions (dumps) as you can. Use your Developer edition to practice. I hope this helps. Thanks, Vijaya
