Hi. What would be the difference between Mass transfer records (Accounts/Leads) vs Transfer multiple records by selecting the records from a list view and clicking Change Owner (Cases, leads, and custom objects)
Hello, Muhammad! As you have mentioned in your question, the ‘Mass Transfer Tool’ (found in Setup) only supports Accounts, leads, and custom objects while change owner in List view is only available for Cases, leads, and custom objects, which can belong to either a user or a queue. In addition when transferring records from a list view, the new owner is required to have at least the Read permission on the object type while this does not apply when using the mass transfer tool. Lastly, the Mass Transfer tool allows users to process a maximum of 250 records per batch while the ‘change owner action’ can process the selected number of records displayed in the list view.

Dear FoF team, I just succeeded my Admin certification in my first attempt. A big THANK YOU! Your structured approach was key on this journey so I feel confident to continue with other certifications now. Previous experience and Trailhead training help but your comprehensive learning approach is more aligned with the certification process. Nevertheless, I found that the exam questions were written from a different perspective and that was destabilizing. For me this is no longer an issue but I invite you to consider to integrate that point in your roadmap.

Hello, Joyce! Thanks for taking the time in sharing your clarification. Permission sets can be assigned per user and not profile. You can verify it by navigating to a permission set and selecting the ‘manage assignments’ button.

I passed the Admin I exam today in first attempt, got around 83% correct. No prior SF work experience, my learning was heavily focused on content from Focus on Force. It helped me grasp the concept, so it made unwinding the tricky questions easier. Do not expect to see similar questions that you practice in FoF. The questions were very confusing and convoluted types, so I would suggest future test takers to go thru the lessons on FoF and understand the concept, it will go a long way. Also complete the trailhead Admin certification trail. Took two days off from work and did two revisions of all contents in FoF, that made the content to stay fresh in my mind. Hope this helps!
