How close are the practice tests to the real tests? I just did one practice test before starting this course to set myself a baseline. I got a 75% on it. Not that I will not prepare, but based on this baseline, how likely would I be to pass right now? I am just try to figure out what kind of time commitment I need to put into preparation for this so I know how far out to schedule the exam.
Hi Jeff,
If you really know 75%+ of the material (not just get the questions right), you will be very well placed to pass the exam. Please make sure you identify your weak areas and try out scenarios in your own org. Use active recall where appropriate (e.g. recite out loud to yourself the concepts or explanations) to make sure you really know them.
You are ready when you have gone through the practice exams and identified the areas where you are weak, and then concentrated on them using the topic exams. Once you have a good understanding of those areas and have recreated scenarios in your dev org, you would be in a good position to take the exam.
Passed my test last Sunday. 100% will be back for App Builder!
Hi Martin,
Just passed the exam today. Narrowly missed just by 2 points on the first try. Extremely helpful material and very exam specific. I must say, absolutely fantastic work by you and your team in putting all of this together. Kudos!!
Thanks,
Vishnu
Just passed the exam today. This study guide was instrumental to my success. Thanks!
Awesome what did you find most helpful flash cards? repetition? and how many hours a day did you study?
I passed the ADM 201 Exam yesterday! Reviewing the study guide and exams were extremely helpful, I felt this prepared me more than trailhead did.
That’s so reassuring to hear, and congratulations! I take the test in a few weeks.
I passed the exam on Thursday. The course and the practice exams were great, but trailhead and just playing around in a dev org were useful as well. One thing that was SUPER helpful was reading the reasons why I got some of the questions wrong on the practice exams. I can tell you that saved me on at least 2 questions on the real exam.
I passed the exam yesterday :)
What other content did you use aside from this program if any?
I passed my Salesforce Admin exam today. This course was such a great help. Thank you for all hard work!
Hi Martin, Is this course and practice tests enough for getting certified? Regards – Divya.
Hi Divya, we encourage you to do Trailheads and use other resources provided by Salesforce, such as their videos and help documentation.
We have created a guide on how to study for the Admin certification exam here:

I passed my Salesforce Admin exam today . I just used the study guide, mock exams and trailhead to prepare for the exam. Thank you Martin and team for putting this together. I am planning to take my advanced admin exams and will be back here soon.
Thanks for the feedback, glad it helped!
