Passed first go – I have focus on force to thank for all of my core SF certs [admin, advanced admin, service cloud, sales cloud and now platform app builder]. Thanks guys!
Hi Trevor, thank you so much for taking the time to let us know about your certification success! That’s fantastic news indeed, and on behalf of the entire Focus on Force team, I wish to pass on our hearty congratulations!
Are you going to study for another certification now, or take a well deserved break?
Kind regards.
Hi Anna,
I’ve bought the Business Analyst bundle to progress through Focus on Force [of course!], I’m also going to do a Salesforce Industries Comms Cloud Accredited Professional cert [that’s a weird one that you can only do as a Salesforce Partner / throigh partner learning materials – hopefully they will open that out in the future].
Thanks again!
Trevor.
Hi Trevor, that’s great to hear! I myself used the Focus on Force BA bundle just a month or two ago to study for and pass the BA certification. You wouldn’t believe how much effort goes into these materials, it’s a mammoth effort to bring in new certification study and exam materials. But certainly the FoF planning team are considering adding in more options – so keep the comments rolling in!
And good luck with the Comms Cloud AP study. It’s a pity those accreditations are only available to partners.
Kind regards
I passed my Platform App Builder Exam yesterday (after failing on the 1st attempt without FoF training material). Thank you so much for your great work
Awesome news, Mario! Congratulations on clearing the App Builder certification exam! We are glad to know that our materials helped! Cheers!
Almost a year later after obtaining the admin cert I’m excited to share that I’ve obtained the Platform app builder cert! Thank you so much FOF for having these visuals for the community as well as helping in advancing in our Salesforce journeys.

You go, Jovani – watch my LinkedIn, I’m gonna have exciting news in a couple of weeks – for the Community, to coach and mentor. I hope to talk to you again soon! This economy will pick up and all your hard work will really be paid off!
Thanks, FOF!
Today I passed Platform App Builder Exam and got its certification. The only thing I did was taking all the Practice Exams in the FOF contents once. Actually, It took only two weeks for me to achieve this result.
To be honest, I just scratched surface of the required knowledge for this examination, and may not provide suitable solution for users’ actual needs in some cases. So, I’m thinking to review the FOF Study Guide as it can be a good material to learn how to implement the solutions using system configurations and decralative programming.
Anyway, thanks again. I am lucky to have met FOF.

Hi Focus on Force community! I’m happy to announce that thanks to your App Builder course, I have successfully passed the App Builder exam on my first try.
I’d like to know, since I’m drawn mostly to SF Process Automation, what would be the best next Cert for me to take on?
Thanks a lot!
Congratulations on passing your App Builder exam on your first try! We’re glad to hear that our materials were helpful to you.
In regards to your question about the best next certification for someone drawn mostly to Salesforce Process Automation, we recommend exploring programmatic solutions for automation. The Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) certification would be a great option for you if you have a development background or if you’re interested in learning more about it.
The PD1 certification covers topics such as Apex programming language, Visualforce, and Lightning Components, all of which are important for building programmatic automation solutions in Salesforce. It’s a great way to expand your skill set and deepen your knowledge of the Salesforce platform.
We wish you the best of luck in your future certification endeavors and hope that our materials continue to be helpful to you!
