I am taking PD II in a few days, and I appreciate how hard you’re working to get Lightning Component and LWC content into the course materials. Since practice exams had previous included a lot of VisualForce and controller content, I am curious if you have a rough idea of what percentage of those questions is being replaced with Lightning questions in the revised exams? For instance, if previously, 90% of the UI content was VF/Controller-focused with 10% Lightning-focused, is it now just 50%? 25%?
Hi Dave, some of the exam guide objectives specifically mention components and some even LWC so we can get an idea from that, but as it is a question bank, it depends on which questions you get. One person that took it recently got mostly Aura component questions and not so many LWC.

I failed my exam two days ago and I can confirm I did not see any LWC but Aura questions.
I recently bought the Exam material here for my second attempt. Could you please tell what topics are up to date so far? I tried the Integrations part and i did not see any of the questions I had to resolve in the exam yet. Thanks in advance!
We are working our way through the topics and planned to be done in about 2 weeks. Strange there was no LWC as it is specifically mentioned in the exam objectives.
I will be taking the exam next week. I know that you guys are already updating the contents with the recent exam changes. Will you please be so kind to name a few topics that you know will be more important?
I can imagine Lightning Web Components being one of them, for example. If you can name others so that I can focus more on those this weekend it would be great!
Hi Elvis, yes there is now more focus on Lightning Components, both Aura and LWC, what is the ‘low code approach’, external IDs and use for integration, dealing with large data volumes. No longer need to know about Heroku (this has been moved to its own cert). The highest weighted sections are logic and process automation and user interface, so concentrate on those.
I gave the exam two weeks before and failed. Then I have purchased this one and unfortunately, I can’t see any questions(topics) which could have helped me to clear the exam. Please update it as soon as possible.I would like to give the exam ASAP.

@zrna Will we get any notification when the update will be completed for your side ? Otherwise how we will know that it has been updated?
Hi Sudipto, there will be no notifications. However, we aim to have most (if not all) topics up by next week.
Hi Sara, How upto date are the questions as of now. I have exam tomorrow. As of today I am able to crack most of questions over here. Not sure if it is truly reflective of how the exam pattern would be. I am mainly concerned with Tools & integration modules

We are still updating the materials, and the new questions are being added to the system as we finish each one. We do not have any feedback for now regarding how reflective it is of the actual exam, but it helps to get used to the exam format with the related topics.
I can see that the course materials for the PD2 study guide are starting to be updated in line with the changes for Summer ’19 (it’s clear which sections have been updated and which are still in progress – which is great and is helping with my revision).
Have there been any changes the practise exams yet? Will they be updated gradually (like the study guide) or all in one go? Could you give any indication of the timeline for this?

We are updating the questions and study guide topics at the same time one by one. We expect to be completing and publishing about 4-5 topics a week, so it is planned to be all done in about 3 weeks.

I attempted for PD2 yesterday. I didn’t cleared the exam even though I gone through all the practise exams. The questions are so advanced. Can you please post some practise question after the Salesforce SU19 release.
A lot of the objectives have changed recently, we are currently working hard to update the content.
is this any ETA on this? I am going to retake this exam, so based on the ETA I can schedule the retake.
We are working on updating the topics one by one, we expect to be done in about 3 weeks with the study guide and practice question updates. It is taking longer as many of the topics are completely new compared to the previous release.

I have went through PD2 exams recently . The questions were more from hands on..I checked went through the question set and dont see much relevance of these the real PD2 exam. Can you please add more questions on Lightning, Triggers, SOQL best practices, LWC, Trigger recursion, deployment and testing.Thanks!
Yes the exam topics have changed recently, we will add questions on the topics you have mentioned.

I passed the advanced developer exam today – it was my second attempt. I studied these practice tests and various Salesforce trailhead modules (especially reviewing the ones required as pre-requisites for completing each of the 4 super badges).
I really appreciated the well documented responses and relevant screenshot images to each question in these practice tests and exams; it was very helpful in narrowing down key concepts to focus on with good high level learning, which in turn helped immensely in eliminating incorrect answers on a few questions on the actual exam.
On my second exam attempt, I received about 7-8 questions on lightning. My review of the lightning related trailhead modules carried me through the questions; it would be good to see more lightning practice questions in this course as well to better prepare for the exam.

Can someone guide me how to erase the answers so I can practice the questions multiple times. Looks like the responses are saved and I am not able to reset the answers.
Responses are saved in a cookie for 5 days or until you submit. Once you have submitted they will be cleared and you will be able to practice again.
