Hello Martin,
I passed my Service Cloud certification today. Thanks for the practice exams, they were very useful in preparation.
Do you have any plan to make study course and practice exams for Field Service Lightning certification available in near future?
Regards,
Surinder
Hi Surinder, that’s great you passed Service Cloud. We have many people asking about Field Service Lightning, so we will consider doing that next, thanks for asking!
Pass my exam. Thanks Martin for the study guide.. :)
That’s great news, congratulations Augustya.
I passed my certification yesterday! Thanks Martin for the diligence on your exam prep here.
1) I used only this course as my baseline for study.
2) All items I did not thoroughly understand I researched separately via Help or Trailhead. (The answers after the questions for me were an awesome aid, especially the screen shots, etc. … well done.)
3) As Oliver did above, I prioritized the high percentage topics first, but I reviewed every section thoroughly until i could score above 90%.
4) I did 2 dry runs for time and focused on reading each question thoroughly for timing.
Recommendations: My exam had a number of specific questions related to CTI and Live Agent. I would study those again so I had a complete understanding end-to-end on how those are implemented and their specific features. Also, there were a good number of questions related to CSAT and associated metrics.
NOTE: The questions on the test are worded differently than they are here, and very much reflect “real-world” type questions asked by clients on projects. The correct Answers for the most part are very clear … but they will use “techy-sounding” language on incorrect answers so don’t be fooled.
I passed the exam yesterday!
This guide is very helpful!
Thanks Martin
Passed certification yesterday.
The study by topics really helped me focus on the parts the most important in the exam (highest %) and go deeper with the links to the documentation in a limited amount of time.
The first 3 questions were on field service lightning which was surprising. i even thought at the beginning I had selected the wrong exam… :-)
but since now they add 5 questions not counted on all certifications to get a feedback, thus it was fine after.
Once you go through the topics and have a good understanding of the different parts, the exam in itself is relatively simple. as always , you have questions you can immediately eliminate if you know the features of the platform.
Choices are very logical as long as you understand the question.
Thanks, Martin. Passed my Exam last night. The study by topics really helped. The format of questions is different in the exam, always recommend to understand the problem in question & logic required to select the right solution.
Also, do learn about differences between classic & lightning. Had 2 questions on this topic
Hi John,
You just read practice exams questions? Or went through study material as well?
I finally took the exam today and also passed it thanks to you Martin and the practice exams! Thank you for providing this valuable resource.
I also passed on the first attempt, yesterday!
I totally agree with Kash, it’s about understanding the terms and functions that you encounter, rather than memorising specific scenarios. The practice exams helped a lot, and as an advice for those currently studying, I recommend reading the explanations below every correct and incorrect answer you give, but also reading the relevant Salesforce help links, if there are any.
My exam had a lot more Knowledge related questions than I was expecting! About 15 or so…
Very useful material, I passed first time.
It’s not just about hard-coding the answers into your mind, but more about understanding why you get something wrong or right – the explanations and detail provided for each question is great.
Don’t expect the questions to be exactly the same, there is a lot more detail in the actual exam. Also there are 65 questions.
I found there was a lot of focus on Omni-Channel and Environment Deployments.
Hi Kash, thanks for providing your feedback and experience on taking the exam, congratulations on passing!
