What is covered in ‘Service Cloud Study’ guide ? What’s the right way to prepare for the exam, first study guide and then practice questions ?
Hi Sunil, Yes first study guide then practice exams. The study guide goes through every topic in the official study guide and provides explanations, overview diagrams, screenshots and flash cards to help you understand the topic in detail. Once you have gone through those and have a good understanding, then use the practice exams to test yourself, and see where your strengths and weaknesses are.
Martin:
Passed Today (Nov 04th 2017) after 2 weeks of using the site.
Any chances to offer the Field Service Lightning class? It goes hand to hand with Service Cloud and I would “beta” for you. :-)
If your Sales and Adv Adm material are anything similar to this one, I will be getting them as well.
Thanks and keep up the good material.
Martin:
I took only the 1st 3 chapters of the course and took the practice exam 1 Today. Got 71% without even going thru the rest of the chapters. I think I will get better results when I finish all the chapters. Is the practice exam 1 enough or should I check the 2 and 3 as well?
Hi Carlos, the more practice the better. Remember the practice exams cover all the topics from the official study guide, but can’t cover every possible scenario that may come up in the exam, so the more scenarios you work through the better prepared you will be.
Hi Martin:
I have done all the Trailhead badges related to Service and practiced on my DE. If I start on this class and study 2 hours every night, do you think I can take the exam on Nov 04th?
Hi Carlos, yes if you have the done the trailheads, and go through these materials and try out the scenarios in your own DE org to really learn, you will be well prepared.
Hi Martin – passed Service Cloud consultant certification. I used the study guide and questions, both, for my study. The combination has been instrumental in my success on this certification. Kudos to you (and team) for putting the materials together.
When can we expect to see Sales cloud consultant study guide? The questions are great by the way on this one as well.
– Dipankar
Hi Dipankar, that’s great news. Thanks for letting us know. We are working on the Sales Cloud study guide, it is planned to be finished by the end of October.
Thank you so much for putting this out! I passed both my Advanced Admin and App Builder certifications using this site. Since I’m getting ready to take the Serviced Cloud exam before the end of the year, this timing is perfect! I’ve been checking the site hoping this would become available.
Hi Donna, yes we have lots of requests for the Service Cloud study guide and practice exams, so glad it is good timing for you and hope it helps your studying and learning!
Martin, I passed Service Cloud handily using only your Study Guide and Service Cloud Trailhead. Thanks again for your work here!
Hi Martin,
Does this exam include the most recent updates that came out for Summer ’17 (SU17)?
Thanks,
Tom
Hi Tom, this is a study guide, not practice exams. We will be adding practice exams shortly.
Yes the study guide and practice exams will be aligned with the latest official study guide SU17.
Does this include question papers also ?
Hi Maneesh,
It includes flash card review questions. We will be adding practice questions within the next week, however that will be separate to the study guide.
Thanks martin for this course. I managed to pass the exam and it’s certainly thanks to your course. i would recommand everyone who want to get this cert to follow this cours.
I have one question regarding the service cloud and i’haven’t find my answer elsewhere, so perhaps you can help to gfind the answer ;)
Do you know what is the difference between Service Cloud User licence and Service Cloud User Feature Licenses ? i have both in my org and for our service console i juste need to activate Service Cloud User Feature Licenses for my users with the salesforce user licence?
Hi Mimou, that’s great that you passed and we are glad you found the material useful!
Yes as you can see here:
https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=users_feature_licenses_available.htm&language=en&type=0
various features need users to have feature licenses assigned, and Service Console is one of them.
