Note

Please be informed that Focus On Force has recently updated this Certification Course to reflect a more modern, stylish and accessible UI.

As you may have observed, we have cleaned up the Main Lesson Page to only show the Main Objectives, Mindmap (also available in Topic pages), and Feedback -- allowing you to have a more clutter-free workspace. We have created separate Topic Pages for each detailed objective which you can access at the left hand side of the page. Upon clicking, you will be presented with the Detailed Objectives under the Section that you have chosen. Additionally, we have put "Topic Progress" indicators which could guide you better on your progress.

For mobile users:
On the Main Course Page, you will see the Lesson Table wherein Percentages and Sections are listed. On the upper right hand side of the table, you will see options to "Expand All" and "Collapse All". If you click on "Expand All", it will give you the option to pick which objective you would like to access.

Hi, i just passed the Data Architecture and Management Certification Exam yesterday. I started learning Salesforce in June of 2019 with FoF and Trailhead, got a nice Job in January, and now i got the rewarding Application Architect Certification. I almost exclusively learned with FoF and I´m very happy that this great Platform exists, definitly was a big part of my lifechanging Experience of the last year.
As i am going into Lightning Web Component in my Company right now (actually i am just starting learning) i am totally looking forward to the Java Script Developer Course 🙂 . Thanks for all the great material!

Hi, When are you planning to start a course from Integration Architecture Designer? This will be my next step after I pass the Data Architecture and Management Designer?

    1. Rielle G. Focus Team

Hi Bartosz, thank you for your question. As of the moment, we are working on a new course for the Javascript Developer I. We may consider adding the Integration Architecture Designer course in the future courses lineup but no definite time yet.

Hi Passed First try on Data Architect. Actual questions were quite different in some areas but the questions from the practice bank encourages you to think out the question and eliminate wrong answers even if you are not 100% sure what the correct answer is

    Hi Trailblazers!
Just pass my Data Architecture certification today.
Thanks a lot to FocusOnForce, great materials.
From the new objectives, the only questions where I really had problems were on platform licenses. Good luck everybody.

      Hi Martin,

Yes, the exam outline was updated in the first week of April. We are working now on updating the content. As there are 5 new objectives and changes to the other objectives, it will take us a few weeks to complete. As objectives are updated or created, we will update the What’s New page.
In the meantime, we have removed the topics that are no longer in the exam outline and will be updating the structure so that it matches the new exam outline.
We appreciate your patience as we work to update the content.

        Hi Martin,

I only recently started the course so didn’t see what changes were made 1st April. Could you please share which are the 5 new objectives? Understandable that it will take time to create the content, but then at least we will know which subjects we should be doing deeper study for.

        Thanks,
        Danny

            Hi Martin,

I was asking about which objectives have changed, so I don’t need to wait and watch the “What’s New” section for the content to appear, and can learn elsewhere. It’s not your fault, as the syllabus just changed, but at least then I can plan where I can get information from in the meantime.

I will take it that any that say “Content coming soon” are new objectives then?

            Thanks,

            Danny

            Hi Danny,

-Given a customer scenario, recommend techniques to ensure data is persisted in a consistent manner.
-Given a scenario with multiple systems of interaction, describe techniques to represent a single view of the customer on the Salesforce platform.
-Given a customer scenario, recommend a design to effectively consolidate and/or leverage data from multiple Salesforce instances.

            Data Governance: 13%

-Compare and contrast various approaches and considerations for designing and implementing an enterprise data governance program.
-Given a customer scenario, recommend an approach for designing a GDPR compliant data model. Discuss the various options to identify, classify and protect personal and sensitive information.

            Large Data Volume considerations 20%

-Given a customer scenario, design a data model that scales considering large data volume and solution performance.
-Given a customer scenario, decide when to use virtualised data and describe virtualised data options.

There are also a number of existing objectives that had modifications such as “Given a scenario”. So far we have published 5 new objectives and we have already added placeholders toggle with “Content Coming Soon” on our website for the other new objectives that we are yet to publish.
