I have passed my admin exam today in first attempt. A big giant Thank You to team FoF. Your guide and mock tests were really helpful. I was extremely nervous in the beginning of a test because questions were different and was seeing them for the first time but slowly I got more confidence. Only piece of advice I can give is, don’t hesitate to mark the questions for review and move on if you are not confident about answer and make sure there is some time at the end to review them.
Congratulations on clearing the Admin exam NT! We are glad to know that we are able to help, cheers!
A massive thank you to FocusOnForce as I passed the exam yesterday on my first try. The best advice I can share is as you go through the Study Guides, if a term or area is unclear, use Trailhead and jump into a playground environment. You got this!
Awesome news, Jace! Congratulations on clearing the exam! We are happy to know that our materials helped, cheers!
Thank you for all of your material as it helped me to pass my exam just a couple of weeks ago!
Hi Jordan, awesome news, congrats on passing! We’re happy that our materials helped!
I passed my Admin Certification on Dec 24th 2020. Thank you for your great material, specially your practice exams. This exam was harder than PMP and Scaled Agile certification. I need to take the next certificate and I think I will be focusing on App Builder next.
Awesome news, Shideh! Congratulations on clearing the exam, we are happy to know that our materials helped. Cheers!
Hello All! I would like to thank you for great material and tests in preparation for the Certified Administrator test. I passed the test on my first attempt this morning and could not have been more prepared (and happy!). As I continue on my journey, I will use Focus on Force as my study guide. Thank you again!
Awesome news, Wendy! Congratulations on clearing the exam, cheers!
Passed the exam! I have to say… this material over prepares you for the exam! That’s not a negative by any means. Once you lock this stuff in, you’re going to have a peace of mind when taking the exam.
Hi Ben, thanks for your feedback, and happy that you felt over prepared!
Great stuff Martin. This material coupled with the application side of things is gold.
That is so good to know because I’m cramming and retaking every single section of the study guide’s exams that I get wrong. I am determined to pass!! And not feel stressed while taking it. Congrats btw! :)
Hi Team. Thank you for this clear and well structured course, as it helped me pass my Salesforce Admin Exam from the first attempt. The mock tests are helpful and the slides show much of the info required and are not hard to understand. I work with Salesforce, but not as an Admin, and this course was the best introduction for me into the admin world.
Great news! Congratulation, Ovidiu-Iulian! We are happy to know that our materials helped, cheers!
Congratualtions Ovidiu! I took my exam this Monday and failed. How did you study?
I’d like to thank you for putting together this content and the practice exams. They have been great. They are informative and easy to follow. I had initially used a different provider to learn the course. They were difficult to follow. Going through your course work and practice exams has helped me greatly with preparing for the exams and my own learning. I passed my exam on the 2nd attempt. After the first attempt, I went through your material again and focused on the areas I performed poorly. Thank you very much. Keep it up. I’ll be coming to you for my next Salesforce course.
Awesome news, Christine! Congratulations on clearing the exam! The whole team is happy to know that we are able to help, cheers!
Aloha Ajay – Thank you for the congratulatory remarks. To answer your question, the Salesforce exam questions were not exactly similar at each attempt but had the same scenario-based question formats similar to the Focus on Force practice exams or Salesforce MOCK Exam questions. I gained more hands-on experience by completing the Superbades and also completing the Focus on Force practice exams. If you have the time to work on the Superbadges, I would highly recommend it. It is time consuming but it’s worth the investment, especially if you’re not on the org practicing your abilities (i.e. user setups, workflow/automation rules, permission sets, business processes, etc). I would do it in conjunction with FoF. Trust me, it’ll serve as a good learning tool especially if you don’t have the opportunity to work on Salesforce at your day job.
Aloha Focus on Force Team –
First, I would like to say Mahalo to the entire team for creating such a wonderful and extremely well-organized course for all of us to utilize. The amount of detail and thoughtfulness that was placed into creating a very resourceful platform made this experience for me so much more easier to learn. I did start my Salesforce journey last year November 2019, like many of us who never heard of Salesforce before, on the Trailhead. I never really put much thought into earning a Salesforce Certificate last year nor thought it would be possible even taking it this year especially without having any experience utilizing the Salesforce platform on a regular day-to-day basis at my workplace. It wasn’t until after the pandemic started this mid-March 2020 that forced many of us to work from home and also forced me to focus on building a great foundation in learning and creating a great new career path ahead within the Salesforce ecosystem.
To future exam participants – I wanted to share a few of my own experiences I’ve had throughout this past year’s completion of the Salesforce Certification Administrator exam that may help motivate a few others looking to pass their exams in the near future.
–> First attempt (4 months preparation)-> Average score 48% – I took this exam way too early on despite reading the exam recommendations for participants with 6 months hands-on experience or more. For me personally, completing just the Trailhead modules on the weekends were not enough and really did NOT give me enough conceptual knowledge in preparing for this exam. Then I started investing some time learning about Focus on Force, Mike Wheeler Media, and Salesforce Ben blog.
–> Second Attempt (one month later)-> Average Score 63% – I’ve spent the entire month accomplishing the required Superbadges (Security Specialist, Lightning Exp Reports & Dashboards and Business Admin Specialist) and mainly studying the Focus on Force materials (Missed passing this exam by 1 question but still needed more time invested with hands-on learning).
–> Third & Final Attempt (one month later – total of 8 months preparing) -> Average Score 80% – FINALLY PASSED! A very satisfying passing score after spending EVERY weeknight and weekends studying on Focus on Force, practicing each of the section quizzes immediately afterwards and taking the Focus on Force Admin practice exams after each week.
Main things that I focused while preparing for this exam is this: Take a deep breath…breathe…and calm your nerves. Even though it may be overwhelming at first, you’ll get through each section if you practice often as you can the concepts so go through each question thorough (even the incorrect ones) and PLEASE DON’T EVER GIVE UP!!! Don’t look at every “FAILED” score on your exam as wasted effort or not being able to accomplish your goals. Just thinking of this as YOUR own personal journey and experience in learning and investing into your future.
Keep your head up high, stay motivated, stay Focused on Force and believe me….YOU…WILL…GET THERE!!!
Mahalo!
Awesome news, Sue! Congratulations on clearing the exam! The whole FoF team is happy to know that we are able to help. Thank you for sharing your journey, this will definitely serve as a great inspiration especially for people who are just starting their Salesforce journey!
Hi Sue, great story congratulations.. were the exam questions same / similar at the each attempt ? do you recommend doing trailhead superbages even after doing the study guide ?
I have this same question
