I ran through all of the exams topic by topic just prior to taking the real exam. This showed I was not so good on one topic area (debug / testing) but comfortable on the others. I worked really hard to improve debug/testing, took the exam and passed. My marks on your exams were very similar to those on the real exam and I brought my debug/testing from 60% up to 80% thanks to your study guide / exams. Thanks for this it is awesome!

    Hi Martin,
are these exam questions exactly the same as questions which we will get in the real exam?

    1. Martin Gessner Post author

No they are not. They are for learning purposes and cover exactly the same topics, but are not the same questions. Our questions are original and will help you learn what you need for the exam.

  4. Matteo

    Hi,
Are these questions exams updated with the latest version of the exam just returned available ?
    Thanks in advance

    1. Martin Gessner Post author

Hi Matteo, the latest study guide has added one objective into the Salesforce fundamentals section, regarding Heroku. We have added questions regarding that and also a section to the study guide.

Hey Martin, I have completed all the PD1 exam in this course. I am redoing it, but for every test once i am done and submit for results the page is stuck on the progress bar stating “Exam complete. Results are being recorded. ” with the progress bar in the stuck on about 75%.

    1. Martin Gessner Post author

Hi Shiva, sorry to hear that you are having trouble. This has been reported before, and it is either a browser, internet or firewall issue.
      Can you try another browser?

  6. Nitesh Jain

Thanks for the explanation provided for each question, that really helped. I passed my PD1 exam last week with 100% marks.

    Focus areas:
Apex programs- If you know the basic programming and OOPs, you can answer for the logical questions based on program. I would highly recommend to go through basic functions provided by apex
Trigger: When to use what trigger? Before or After ?
Unit Test – You should know the basic thing like declaration, Methods being tested and Assertions
Deployment – Go through all the tools and theirs uses
Configuration – Few of questions will be from configuration about the fields/Relationship/Workflow/Process builder – These are easy to crack

I think if you have given Admin and Platform App builder- You can provide answer to, at least 10-15 questions easily without worrying much about the program so focus more on Apex class/Trigger

Thanks for putting together such good quality materials and a robust app/site for accessing them at a great price – stellar value. I passed PDev1 yesterday and PAppBuilder back in May. I look forward to buying more exams and guides as they are released.

Thanks, Martin. With your exam prep I was able to clear the exam first try with good marks. I decided to use the same weird vocabulary as the other comments. Please hurry with dev II!
