I passed the exam yesterday. The course and practice exams were very helpful in passing the test. The explanations and screenshots were timely in providing a quick crash course on the topic. I recommend this course.
Hi Martin, I just passed the exam. Your study questions are absolutely worth the money because of the helpful explanations and screenshots. Will recommend this to all my colleagues.
It was my understanding that the Force.com IDE is deprecated and the functionality has been moved to the VS Code extension. These practice exams still have questions about the forve.com IDE. Does the real DEV 1 exam still have questions about the Force.com IDE?
Hi Jonathan, force.com IDE is still mentioned in the official study guide objectives so it may still be in the actual exam. If the study guide objectives change in the future and no longer mention it, we will update / remove the references.
I am so glad that I purchased the Salesforce platform Developer 1 Exams! I passed the real exam on Sept. 24, 2018 (Monday!!) I may buy other courses and exams in the future but right now I need a rest from study and enjoy my victory!!
Hi Martin,
I realised that most of the question in the exams are same from “questions by topic” i first did exam by topics. and then i decided to check if i can answer the actual exam questions and most were repeated :(
Of course i still forgot many answers.. so it was a good refresher…
Passed first time! Great material to brush on key areas :)
Realistic questions, using these and the Platform Developer 1 study guide, was what I used to successfully pass the exam.
Been going through these exams and very helpful. I do have a comment about the topic sections. The Salesforce Fundamental sections has a bunch of questions on Heroku but none of the full exams have any Heroku questions. May want to consider adding some Heroku questions to those exams as well to give people full coverage in each exam. Other than that, everything has been very good.
Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the feedback. Yes we are aware of that, it is a challenge to maintain the question weightnings when topics change over time, but soon we plan to add a ‘question bank’ function that will draw the questions according to the weightings from the total question bank, so that will solve this issue.
Maybe I don’t fully understand the challenge, but if the bank of questions is larger than what can be represented in the 4 full exams, I would love to have additional full exams so that every possible question is covered from doing the full exams.
I was pretty shocked when I went through all the full exams and then realized they didn’t include every possible question. I would have expected that by doing every full exam completely and multiple times, that every possible question would be covered.
Thanks!
Hi Larry, to make sure that you have covered every question, we recommend that you do the topic exams first, they will include all the questions. Then do the practice exams, even though they don’t contain every single question, they can be used to gauge your strengths and weaknesses.
Got it, thanks Martin!
I passed the exam. If I were good at memorizing content, I probably would have done better. Thanks for providing access to so much content.
I passed my exam this week. These practice exams are useful, not only do they fill any gap you may have in your knowledge but they also give you that extra confidence when you click “Submit Exam”.
