Just finished and passed the PDI Cert. This guide was super helpful!
was there any question from Asynchronous Apex or Heroku, cause I am planning to take it in 5 days? Thanks in advance Robb :)
These days I’ve passed the PDI. This study guide has helped me a lot to sum up the knowledge. Excellent course!
Congratulations, Albina! We are glad to hear that the materials helped.
Albina Hoti, have you seen any questions about Heroku? Thanks in advance.
I have studied for my Admin, Advanced Admin and App Builder certs using Focus on Force and excited to be back studying for my Platform Developer I
Thank you for this amazing study guide and the practical test. I passed my certification Today.
Just got back from passing PD1! This study guide definitely helped as well as the “Prepare” trailmix. No Heroku questions at all. I did encounter a question or two on there from one of the practice tests too.
Hi Eric,
Congratulations on passing the exam. We’re happy to hear that our course helped.
Passed the PD1 exam yesterday. The study guide helped a great deal. I did not get any questions on Heroku.
Passed my PD1 Exam today! Thanks FocusOnForce for this great platform to learn. The real questions are not the same, but with this to the point learning material and if you pass here with a good score and of course some real life developing experience, you are doing good. BTW: I had no Heroku Questions and neither did a colleage of mine last week. Maybe they took them out!? Best and keep up with the good work. Rainer
Congratulations on passing the PD1 exam, Rainer! Thank you for the feedback and for letting us know about the absence of Heroku questions. Let’s see if others report the same and we will update the material.
Passed my exam this week! Having one consolidated place for the study material is awesome, and the practice exam are REALLY helpful after using the guide.
Hi Martin. This study guide doesn’t seem to have anything of the SF security model for Objects, records and fields e.g. profiles, org wide, sharing. Is that a separate study guide? Seems that security would be part of developer 1 exam.
Hi Christopher,
The official PD1 exam guide does not have any underlying objective related to the security model and sharing features. The PD1 study guide only covers security implications of features and tools such as Developer Console and Force.com IDE. However, the Administrator certification study guide does have an entire section for security and access features.
Thanks to you and your team I passed my Dev 1 exam last week. What a truly helpful study guide and set of practice exams you’ve put together! I definitely prefer your study guide to the Salesforce standard documentation. I learned a lot because of the straightforward, clear explanations you gave for each topic.
I’m very glad to hear you are almost ready to release the Sharing and Visibility Designer. I’m hoping after that you might be considering the others
… in the application architect and system architect tracks, e.g., the Certified Data Architecture and Management Designer cert.
Keep up the great work!
