I just passed the Salesforce Admin exam yesterday and I am super excited. I bought the Salesforce Administrator Course to study for the exam. I had a relatively short timeframe between beginning my FoF course studies and taking the test, and I was able to pass on my first attempt. For me, the key was striking the perfect balance between comprehensive study materials (FoF, Trailhead modules, etc.) as well as hands-on practice (Trailhead Playgrounds, work experience w/ Salesforce).
I feel like I know the concepts, but put me in front of a test and start a timer, and I’m like a deer in headlights! Having said that, FoF gave me the knowldge, tips and confidence to pass the Admin test my first time. They give you 105 minutes to take the test, but I was out of the testing center in 40 min. I had marked some questions on the test for review, but when I finished the 65 questions (5 are not graded) I clicked SUBMIT without a second thought. With FoF as my guide, I look forward to achieving my next goal (Platform Developer 1).
