So this study guide will help passing the Admin certification but if you are new in this field and you don’t know anything about salesforce and want to be an Admin or Developer how will you learn fast and get job? Specially if you are from non IT background. And I have heard that now a days getting only Admin job is difficult as you have to be Admin + Developer. Can someone guide me regarding that?
Hi Binita, the Admin+Developer role would be in a smaller company where there might be only 1 person supporting the Salesforce org. In larger organizations, people can specialise and have a full time Admin, Business Analyst or Developer role. I talk about this more in my book, available here: https://getbook.at/thecareerplaybook
Hello FOF team, thank you for all of your hard work! Wondering if there is a list of trailheads to complete for each section in addition to the ones listed. Many of the sections don’t have trailhead links associated with them and I’ve found that coupling studying with some hands on practice is incredibly helpful.
You are on the right path by actually trying to do hands-on practice along with learning each section. I would recommend using the Trailhead Admin Trailmix. By the time that you finish this Trailmix, you would have completed several Superbadges as well, which are definitely great challenges as you learn about becoming an awesome admin.
Hi team. I passed my SF admin exam! Thank you so much FOF. Your courses and practice tests were very helpful!
Congratulations, Vanessa! We are glad to know that our materials helped, cheers!
Thank you FOF team! I’m a Certified Admin now. The study guide and practice exams helped me a lot! Will be back to FoF for the Next exam.
Awesome news, Adrian! Congratulations on clearing the exam! We are glad to know that we are able to help!
Is the Study Guide designed to be completed in order or is it OK to skip around and do sections in a different order?
Hi, Erin! Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us. The study guide toggles were only arranged based on the exam outline order, but you can study the topics in whichever order would work for you.
Thanks Belle!
Thanks FOF, great material, passed 1st time today
