Can you clarify: In the video with Charly re: tasks and event Session 9. she listed the location in the location field but in the questions, it states you should list in resources. managers can list the location of the event in resources for users to find. Is there one answer or is it optional?
Hi Cheryll,
The location of an event should be listed in the location field but if the user wants to book meeting resources for an event such as a conference room, or projector, then ‘resource’ has to be added as an ‘attendee’. The user has to add the attendee field in the Event page layout to accomplish this.

question states Galatic Sweepers offer a weekly office cleaning service that is invoiced monthly. What should be created to represent this? Answer is quantity and revenue and not revenue because customer receives the order on a delivery schedule and also pay for the products using a payment schedule. How does one know this if the service is weekly? it is 4 weeks billed once. Am I missing something?
Hi Cheryll, it’s clear from the question that the service has a weekly schedule, and a Revenue and Quantity Schedule is suitable if the customers receive their order on a delivery schedule and also pay for the products using a payment schedule. But in the future, for all exams related questions, please use our forum.
I took my test yesterday and PASSED!! So excited. Thank you Focus on Force!!

Hi, I also passed my exam today! Many, many hours of study, using a mix of Focus on Force and Trailhead. I also watched one of Martin Gessner’s interviews and the tips the practical tips there were great too.
I am going to have a break from study before I embark onto my next challenge.

For reassurance during my studies, I’ve always come back to this page’s comment to build my confidence in the process. Today I’m happy to report that I have completed my salesforce exam on the first attempt thanks to this guide and the practice exams! I’ve only been studying for 3 months with no prior experience. I hope this comment builds your trust in FOF’s process.
Michael, your comment is something that’s very inspiring to read this Monday morning. We are sure that other FOF users will find confidence in what you have shared. We are glad to hear that you are now a certified Salesforce Administrator. Your preparation and diligence surely paid off. Congratulations and the whole FOF Team is happy for your new milestone!
Thank you Starkey and FOF team!
Thanks for sharing Michael. I have my salesforce exam scheduled today and feeling confident as I’m doing well with the practice exams. Happy to see others have succeed with this program.
Congratulations, to pass with no experience that’s amazing! Well done.
congratulations! can I ask how did you prepare? after many hours of studying and doing mock tests, I failed on my 2nd attempt, kinda frustrating, I must have approached the wrong way. Please any advise much appreciated!!
Hi Emma, You probably already know this but for me the winning formula is I go through the study guide and video for a topic, watch Charlies video for that topic, do the topic exam and then anything questions you have do your due diligence and own personal research (which for me wasn’t much i was mostly just in FOF ) . Then i moved on to the next topic. After that process was completed (give or take 2/3 months of half day study) It was 2 weeks of Practice exams and question bank in FOF. I only scored about 75% average and on the real exam i scored 77%.. I feel like you probably know all of this and are more experienced then me but I hope it gives you clarity and courage for your next attempt.
Hello,
I have started the SF admin cert prep journey recently and started with the study group videos.
Can someone please guide me on where can I get the slides for all the topics above.
Regards
Arun Kumar Sukumar
The Study Group videos used the slides that are on the Topic Pages.
For example, if you will be watching Study Group Video #1, you may cross reference it to the slides from: https://focusonforce.com/lessons/configuration-and-setup-i-20/.
Then, if you will be watching Study Group Video #2, you may cross reference it to the slides from: https://focusonforce.com/lessons/configuration-and-setup-ii/ and https://focusonforce.com/lessons/configuration-and-setup-iii/ — so on, and so forth.
Passed the exam this weekend! The combination of slides + videos + the study group videos with Charly really made it a breeze. My advice: if any of the concepts aren’t “clicking,” make sure you’re taking the corresponding module in the Salesforce Admin Trailmix. It really helps to cement the concepts (and exam topics) from FoF.
Hi Michael, that’s great news! Congrats on passing the exam, and thanks for sharing the tips! Our team is really happy to hear that our materials helped!
Michael, thanks for the tip. I’m on the verge of taking a Cert exam soon.
